Every Fontaine Titanium hand-made glass is blown by skilled craftsmen into hand-carved wood molds.
These molds are meticulously carved to our specifications and are why each glass has a consistent shape even though every single one is made by hand. During the glassblowing process they are fully soaked to prevent the wood from burning and lubricate the crystal. Glassblowers then insert a hot pipe with molten crystal and carefully blow the glass into existence. Given the extreme conditions, each mold only lasts for the creation of a few hundred pieces before retirement.
